Meet the TEAM
Hi I’m Fiona and I’m your chairperson, protection and wellbeing officer and lead of women and girls football at the club.
I have been involved in the club for 20 years
I have sat on the committee for all of those years
Starting out working with the young strollers before we came one committee I then went onto lead the club to start a girls section in 2010 completing the pathway in 2023 with the addition of a ladies competitive and recreational teams.
I am passionate about offering football to many not the few.
I’m also passionate and dedicated to give our community something to be proud of and a club that offers more than just football to them.
I’m a full time mental health nurse and I work with young people 12-16 years old. I have been nursing for 24 years.
I’m proud to volunteer for the Glenrothes Strollers it gives me an enormous sense of achievement which in turn supports my own wellbeing as I enjoy helping, teaching and supporting people.
I have a strong believe that sport and sports clubs can give so much more than just fitness. I believe sport can teach us life long skills to make us well rounded people as we grow up.
Not everyone will become a world famous football player but we all have an opportunity to teach young people how to succeed, fail , be a good friend, team working, good communicator, supporter of other, manage disappointment, to have fun, grow stronger mentally and physically.
We would love more help at the club if you’re interested in giving a little back to the people of Glenrothes and surrounding area.
